Phosphate Controller - Water Dispersible Powder of an Ionically Modified Clay

PKO is a type of bentonite that removes phosphate from freshwater and marine aquariums by creating a new insoluble element that binds to interstitial phosphate in the sediment. It is safe for use in aquariums and does not generate ecotoxicity.

 

Removes Phosphate from water within three hours of application

It is not an algaecide

One kilogram of PKO removes more than 30 grams of PO4 (1 gr - 0.34 ppm)

PKO dosages depend on water phosphate levels and external sources of phosphorus in the aquarium

 

Can be used with a dosing pump (1:4 ratio with RO water)
